A Wildwood Elezen based in Gridania with her tailor shop - Dream-Weaver Fabric. Skilled with a needle at a young age she learned how to make an assortment of clothing. She loves to travel the world, eat plenty of food, but most of all she loves spending time with her daughter.

Relationship Status: Not looking for anyone.Backstory: At a young age Melody would read upon stories of adventurous tales, which inspired her initial pursuit of being an adventurer. Although she was adept at archery, she would not be able to handle high-pressure situations with monsters chasing her down.She learned her weaving skills from her mother. Who was very good at fashioning scarves, gloves, sweaters. Melody would watch carefully, learning by practicing and reading.Years have gone by with no suitable partner. Often the excuse seems to be that she already has a child without being married at all. Which left Melody in a tough situation of not pursuing any partners at all. Although disheartening, she's done well enough to balance her life as a single mother.Her tailor store is her lifeblood. Putting her utmost passion into anything she is working on. She is glad that her services are needed across the realm. One of her more notable endeavors was helping with the restoration of the Firmament.

Likes:
A well-made Rolanberry Tart. Doesn't help that she has a sweet tooth so a lot of assortment of different pastries can work.Putting her Culinarian skills to good use. Melody loves having guests over, feeling accomplished by cooking a hearty meal.Meeting new people. Hence, why she travels when she can.Money! She'll even take on commissions she's not too fond of unless it pays extremely well.Dislikes:
The type of people telling her how to do her job despite not really knowing the process she goes through to fashion clothes together.Bad breath. You don't want to speak to Melody if you have a bad breath...Spiders... although okay with some creepy crawlies.

In terms of RP I'm bad at pinpointing what I like, but if discussed I can be up for it. Keep in mind I am a selective individual so please don't feel too bad if I reject.

Personality

Personality: Affectionate, diligent, and reliable. A Wildwood Elezen woman, tasked with running her own tailor shop. She has grown up in Gridania her whole life with a dream of traveling, having aspirations to be an adventurer initially. She gave up those aspirations as she wasn't cut out for the adventurer life, on top of the fact that she had a daughter to take care of.Thankfully her business has allowed her the opportunity to travel to places like Radz-at-Han and Kugane. Which helped to add to the repertoire of skills she had. On top of that, earning her some acclaim which she feels very shy about hearing and brushes the compliments off.She is known to be very hardworking and dependent. Working on commissioned clothing and meeting deadlines, but that can be a detriment to her, specifically spending hours with little to no sleep.With the stress that can come with her role, on top of her short-temper she can at times become passive-aggressive towards people as a result. Often trying to smile her way through a situation of someone she doesn't like. If anyone gives her any attitude, she will do so back at them.Melody initially had a lover whom she had her daughter with. While still thankfully on best terms with her former lover, she finds it hard to get herself involved romantically. Often distancing herself just a bit so she doesn't get caught up in love.

Strength:
Able to pick up on different crafts quickly. Not only an exceptional Weaver but is also adept as a Leatherworker and a Culinarian.Innovation and creativity - Her craft requires a constant innovating of different ideas whether it be for dresses, shirts, shoes etc.Multi-tasker. Being a single mother with a business, she does well in managing her time and plans out as much as possible.Weakness:
Apart from a bit of archery, she's not a fighter. Can't really use any weapons or magics.Saying no at times, especially from loyal customers who come to her as she ends up taking too many responsibilities.Has problems with anxiousness. Her environment can be stressfull with what she involves herself with.

Marielle:
Melody's only child. 12 years old. Really close to her mother. Shy, caring, and very creative. Has a short temper and can get easily frustrated when things don't go her way.She doesn't travel as much with Melody as most of the time she's gone is due to business-related travels. Although she loves it when she is able to go when possible. Otherwise, she's often stuck with her grandparents.Marielle is skilled with and still practising being an archer. The same could be said of her piano skills, often touted as a prodigy.While she has learned weaving skills from Melody, her ambition is to be an adventurer like her aunt, Aria. Often fascinated with the stories she is told when Aria does come over very rarely.Often the subject to Melody's test for trying out the new clothing that was made. Much to her embarrassment.Wishes she had a younger sister/brother.Aria:
Melody's younger sister. 32 years old. A free spirit, but also a bit of an airhead at times. Loves a good laugh and is very generous to the people around her. Sometimes a bit emotionally distant when it comes to arguing with her family as she tends to avoid confrontations when it comes to words. A reason why she doesn't visit her family often. Loves her niece a lot.An adventurer, but mainly a bounty hunter by trade. Often going to a hunt job solo or with a team. Skilled Warrior, with a trusty axe by her side, frighteningly strong at times. When it comes to hunting some marks her initiative and quick thinking paired with her brute strength have made her successful in hunts, with a few scars to show for it, thankfully not on her face.She left her home one day without saying goodbye, or any indication that she was gone until she returned a year later. Since then it's been infrequent visits back home.She loves her family dearly but knew if she were stuck about she wouldn't be able to play out her dream of being an adventurer, hence she took the bold step of leaving the home, knowing what the consequences were.
